1. i have got a meridian color and the gps location is out by about by around 50 to 100 metres???? can this be corrected and i heard that the sunami teo other year is the cause of the gps being out????


2. there is built in maps on the magellan can i somehow delete these maps as i am no where near the built in maps.

1) set the map datum to WGS84

2) probably not (but not sure)

yha i have done that. might try some others dunno what it will do but nayway. nt to much of a problem i know its out my cousins is aswellhis is a different model. plus when ya driving along the highway the triangle is off of the road to the map im guessing thats cos the gps location thingy is out??

Yes you can change the base maps in most Magellan units.
You can find the information (and base map files) in Yahoo Magellan Meridian Groups. You have to subscribe to be able to access the messages and files.
