Quest Power Mount on a Bike.

I'm just about to buy everything need to mount my Q1 on my motorbike. ie, Ram mounts with powered cradle etc.

What I would like to know is, Will I have to leave my Quest cradle and Ram arm on the bike when parked up or is it a case of disconecting the power cable from the cradle and removing everything except my ram mount ball and powered cable.

My bike is often left outside a mates house overnight so I don't fancy leaving anything easily removed on it.

I leave it all (not the Quest) on my Pan whenever I park it out, though I do fold down the Ram cradle into the head stock.

Not been a problem so far but;

I read many cars are being broken into 'cause the GPS cradles are visible. This could become a problem.

Normally when leaving the bike I simply put the Quest in the side pocket but I may have to review this practice.
