Instead of buying the three maps, buy this. Each map comes in Standard (country or country group only) or PLUS (country/group PLUS major routes of Western Europe). You cannot navigate across map borders but you can navigate from one country to another (street maps in the mapped country, major roads in other counties) by using the PLUS maps.
For instance, you could plot a route from Holland to the ouskirts of PAris and then switch to the France map. Or get on the main road in Holland, then switch to the France PLUS map. You will be routed via main roads from Holland to France but will have street-level routing once inside France. _________________ Tim |

Hi, what would happen if I have all maps installed on to the one sd card.
i.e Germany/netherlands, france and UK.
Would I be able to travel cross country without having to switch maps? |

No, it is a limitation that you cannot route street to street across cut map boundaries. TomTom do one other map which is a single cut of Western Europe. With this, you can route street to street because it is all one map, not several smaller ones. It isn't cheap, though. Have a look here. _________________ Tim |

Why would you want the individual maps as well? This is the all singing all dancing one-piece map. It comes on an SD card, either 1.5 or 2Gb, can't remember which. _________________ Tim |

I don't think that Europe map will work with a PDA
Compatibility
TomTom
GO, GO 300, GO 500, ONE
TomTom
RIDER
Also size of card may cause problems, mine won't work with anything bigger than 1Gb |
