TOMTOM GO500 and Maps

Hi,

I have maps from a copy of TomTom5 which I used on my Palm before it died. However I now use a TomTom Go 500 for navigation with the standard UK and major roads of Europe installed.

Is it possible to increase the size of the SDCARD and install the palm maps for use with the TomTom 500?

All TT5 Maps have the same basic data. It's just the program that is different for various devices.

You will need to re-activate the Maps if you use them on the 500.

Re-activate them, is there a cost in that or will the device just ask for a code. I can't remember the process...

You will need the Product Code for the Maps and the Device No.

Then goto www.ttcode.com and input the numbers as requested and it will generate an Activation Code.

When you use the Map for the first time it will ask for this Code.
