Speed warnings on TT5 on iCN520

As topic says, i have TT5 running on my iCN520 and want to add audio warnings such as " Gatso Ahead " etc etc, i know how to add the built in sounds to the POI files but how or where do i put my own wavs ?

It must be possible because people are selling the info on ebay and im guessing they got the info from a forum such as this.

Any help greatly apreciated on this.

You cannot use wav files within TomTom 5, the audio warning sounds are all stored within a single file (data.chk in programs/ navigator folder), you can change this with software utilities and put your own audio into the file if you want to. As a start the audio files need to be in .OGG format (not .wav), have a dig around for an audio file format converter. - Mike

Thanks for the info on the file format, im allready fammilar with video and audio formats and BeSweet will do the trick.

I take it i can rebuild the Data.chk file with my own sounds, and then change within the menu.

What software utilities can rebuild the chk file for tom tom?
