i3 locating all the time

Hi,Just took the plunge and bought an i3, sat here playing for about 4 hours now and in all that time all it has done is stated locating satallites (even went and sat in the car with it), I have done the upgrade to 2.7? from the garmin site + web updater.
Is this the norm or what,can anybody advise!

Also I have put the camera and other poi's on it, do these just show up as you go along or do you have to activate them.

initially it can take up to 20 or more minutes to get a satellite lock on a cold start (i.e. factory fresh) - stand still in an open space with clear view of the sky, be patient, it'll happen!

Many thanks for the reply. I have now been out with it and had a play and pleased to report eveything is working perfect.

I cant believe that such a small unit can be so precise and acurate, even went of route on purpose to test it, and it recalculate in seconds.

Thanks to all at pocket gps world for such an informative site, and to all the forum contributers for there postings about the i3 which helped me choose this unit.
