I have already posted replies on several other threads so it is not a problem with my browser settings.

I left and came back a few hours later and it is still the same.

It turned ou that my post contained a "right arrow" symbol which was causing the error.
(did many trial/eliminations)

I wonder why as this is a very common "to" symbol.

Removed that and substituted with a "to" and it posted OK.
