Running TT Navigator on a HP rz1710 with a TT in car cradle, the led light on the antenna unit is not on or flashing and the system is not locating any satelites,i've checked the antenna's power lead and the rj11 plug for continuity seems in order- is there a fuse inside the antenna housing that may have blown -if not is it a software issue or an electronic fault with the cradle -please advise...desperate!

Hi Herbie, with my cradel, I noticed, if you push the plug in the cigarette lighter socket, sometimes you have to turn the plug before the light comes on. I take it the ignition is on in the car. Also, did I read somewhere, the light flashes when it is looking for satellites, perhaps its not looking, are all the settings right, is this the first time you tried to use it, or has it worked but stopped all of a sudden? _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav

Thanks Tanda
The light is working on the cradle and the unit is charging via the cigarrete lighter socket, the problem is the light on the antenna is not flashing or working and the pda is telling me that i am not receiving any sat signals -is there an in-line fuse in the antenna?

Hi Herbie, My antena is built into the car cradel, although I do have a seperate antena, but never found the need to use it, are you using a seperate antena, if you have an antena built into the cradel, have you tried it without the seperate antena, to see if it is the seperate antena at fault, if you have a built in one in the cradel, will this pick up the satellites, without the need to use a seperate one, can you borrow one to see if yours is at fault, or is it another problem you have? My settings are for ViaMitchelin, but they might help,
