Which Citymaps are you talking about? The ones sold for TT Navigator 2 and higher should work.
The old product TomTom Citymaps 2001 (or so) Europe will not work, I think. Also would not think the maps are good enough still. _________________ GO1005

Hi
Many thanks for the reply,
I am using the tomtom city maps for pocket pc, palmOS,and epoc PDAs and the nokia 9210 nokia. (new edition) that come on 2 CD disks........that I was using on my ipaq hp4700..............
If I can use these I would like to but have no idea how to transfer them to my tomtom go 500 so any advice etc would be most welcome.
Many thanks

I believe those are the 2001 versions. I doubt they work on GO500.
Is there an option to install to a cardreader? Choose that, your GO is a card reader. But probably the map will not show. I'm not sur eit's the same format.
Even if they do show, it's only citymaps, so you can't navigate outside the city limits. _________________ GO1005

Thanks for the help......I will probably abandon the idea ...as you say they only cover the city limits anyway.
