ICN520 wont connect to PC anymore

Hi guys

I have asked Navman for assistance but have yet to hear back.

Someone might be able to help me, my ICN520 doesnt want to connect to my PC anymore, it used to connect fine now when I connect it up it tries to connect then appears to do a hardware reset, it then tries again and resets.....this continues on.

I have checked the USB ports on the pc and they are fine, uninstalled the activesync and SmartST 2005 and reinstalled yet the problem persists. The ICN520 hasnt had its software updated to the latest service pack.

It seems wierd that it used to connect now it does which leads me to think its a hardware issue perhaps the UART for comunicating has died but I'm open for ideas on what else i can try

u must use activesync make sure its installed.

turnt he switch on the back to off for a min or so, then turn it back on then try it. this should reset your device to default
