|
|
Hi,
I've just got a P910 and TomTom Mobile so I want to copy my favourite locations and voices from TomTom Navigator on my iPaq.
So, the question is, how do I do it? I'm assuming it's possible (and simple once you know how) because TomTom have created a common platform for their software where so many of the files are interoperable.
I tried copying the currentmap.dat and Great_Britain-24a02c86.mac files from the iPaq which didn't work and I'm not too keen to move about any more files without knowing what I'm doing because I'm going to make a mess!
Thanks in advance. |

As far as I understand it, TTMobile uses voices at a different bit rate to all the other versions, so you won't be able to use your existing files
I'm not sure about the your favourites, maybe someone else can point you to the right files to copy. |

I wondered if that might be the case. Thanks for confirming it.
Well, that's one question down and one to go. So, has anyone figured out how to copy the favourites from Navigator to Mobile? |
