cant make tom tom GPS work!

Hi everyone,

My dad has a Mitac Mio 168 Pocket PC and Tom Tom navigator (v3.03 i think).

Tom Tom has been installed onto the pocket pc but cant make it work......the GPS is just a light grey with no data in it whatsoever.

I keep reading about bluetooth, but there is no bluetooth on the pocket pc (well, i could not find it!). Is this likely to be a problem?

So, as far as i can tell the GPS is not working but can anyone suggest or tell me ways to fix this problem?

in the TomTom GPS applet, select COM2 (or SP2) and NMEA 4800 (or 9600 - there are different versions of the Mio 168). Then check the checkbox and see if the dots are flying.

Bluetooth should not matter on that device.
