you need to have at least one pair of VIF/CHK files either in the application folder or in a folder called VOICES in the root of the storage card. _________________ Lutz

The new TTN5,2 should have created a folder called tomtom in the root of the storage card, if you still haven't got the voices folder then create it and put the voice files into it, then it should work - Mike |

Just had the same issue and found the cause and cure.
for some bizzarre reason tomtom deletes the dataXX.chk file of the voice file pair.
Basically each voice on tom tom has both a dataXX.chk and a dataXX.vif file, the .chk file becomes deleted.
If you create a copy of these then paste the .chk file back into the directory it was deleted, normal service is resumed !!!! |
