Just what is the problem with the N70

Hi all,
I have seen similar posts on other forums, but has anybody actually got TT to run on the N70 as well as it runs on the 6630

Seems the 6630 runs TT with very few problems, but the newer N70 has endless problems.
Ideas anyone, besides getting shut of the N70 and going back to the 6630

It's not as easy as that, it depends. some N70 with the version 5 firmware still have problems running TTM5.

Mine is not 100% stable. New version of TTM% and upgraded firmware still drops Bluetooth connection.

It seems that everybody has a different way to get the phone to connect to the GPS receiver to give a stable connection.
Most have to remove all the speed camera alerts as well.

Looking back I would have kept my old 6600 phone as it ran on that with no problems at all.

I have v5 firmware and it's made little difference

on a 2 hour journey, on Saturday, it lost bluetooth 3 times and 2 of those it never recovered a connection, I had to do it manually

beggining to wish I never bought an N70

does anyone know if Route66 is any better or is the N70 just a load of sh!te ?

I need to upgrade mine to firmware 5.0609.2.0.1 01-03-06

Any idea where i can take it? I live in the Bolton/Manchester region.

Spoke to a couple of CPW and they have NO idea what firmware they can upgrade it to. They'll know once they've done the upgrade!!!
