Navman 550 map problem + questions

I just turned on my navman 550, and i went to the UK but theirs only half of the UK showing and their are a load of orange bits on the map. maybe its a setting am not to shore. but their are grey patches over the where i cant see the roads but i can see the names of the places ect. thanks

ALSO

can i use active sync to update my POI'S? e.g add speed cams ect. or do i HAVE TO have smartst as i dont have it Sad

and its £100+ to buy Sad

The first question is "Where did you buy your device?". If you buy an iCN 550 then you get four CDs with it; one containing SmartST and three containing maps.

And no, it isn't possible to transfer POIs using Activesync; you need SmartST PRO 2005 for that.

I've locked this topic since you asked the same thing here. This is a prime example of why you shouldn't ask the same question in two different places; the responses appear in both threads and people lose track of what's been said.
