Elevation detection on the Medion 95900/96800

Hi All,

Well, I've been perusing the manuals for both Medion 95900/96800 satnav units, trying to find more information on how to obtain the given elevation, but can't find anything more than that paragraph on page 14: -

"The signals of at least three satellites are needed to determine the longitude and the latitude. With the signals of at least four satellites the elevation may be calculated too."

Thats it. I can't find anymore info on it!

Does anyone know anymore than this?

With the software as-is no you wont be able to get the elevation.

You'll need to install something like BeelineGPS in order to get the more typical functions of a hand-held hiking GPS. That will show you the elevation calculation.
