|
|
Hi,
I added the speed cameras to my i3 the other day but the proximity alerts are far too early and it always beeps when im doing 40 because it thinks im in a 30 zone which is really annoying. From what i understand its possible to change these values when you import the cameras, but do i need to delete the ones that are on there at the moment and then import again or will it automatically over write them all?
Thanks in advance |

Is it possible to update the maps (the uk ones) for free? Or do you have to pay? |

every time you upload new poi's to the garmin, it will delete the old ones.
best to keep a folder on the hard drive with all your POI's on it, and every time you add more, put them in the folder first, and upload the lot together. |

There are many threads about the updating of maps.
Basically if you have version 8 then you have the latest.
If you have version 7 you need to wait for Garmin to make an announcement about updating and nobody knows for sure what is going to happen. Have a look through the threads if you want to know in more depth.
