TTN5 "Blips"

I've noticed using TTN5 5.210 on my Mitac Mio168 that it can be working fine then all of a sudden seems to have some sort of blip and can cause me to go down the wrong road. This doesn't happen all the time maybe once every couple of hours. The sat signal is always looking good at the time.

It is almost as though the software is being too clever and predicting I will go down a particular road even if I haven't or even if it is not the correct one.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar or have any ideas on a fix?
