I am an avid orienteer who recently purchased TTN5 with Bluetooth GPS unit and I am wondering if there is someway for me to record the information obtained from my GPS unit onto my Treo 650 and then upload it into OCAD (a piece of computer mapping software used to create orienteering maps) - the best type of file would be DXF but BMP would also do.

Thanks,
Jeremy

TomTom will not help you there. You'll have to wait until www.activemap.com comes online, or search the web for an alternative solution.

Isn't there some way to record the data coming from my Tomtom GPS receiver (even if I don't use TTN5 software to interpret it) e.g. save it as a file and download it and convert it if necessary into DXF or BMP?

yes, but not on a Palm (at least I don't know of any). Plenty of programs for Pocket PC.
