Hi there am a complete newbie to this sort of thing so do bear with me and i would greatly appreaciate some help eso if anyone has exp of this.

I have a Palm T5, A Hi-204E and a Hi-403BT, which I am trying to use with Via Michelin navigation system (v3.3).

I was wondering if there were any compatibility issues that i am not aware of or if there are any patch solution s that you might provide?

I have the problem that the pda only intermitantly connects with the BT device. I know its connected when the blue lights stays constant. I keep getting this message from the pda that it needs me to select a device, ie the connection cuts off. Consequently the gps very occasionally works and it has rendered my gps system fairly useless (as i am interupted every 1min to re-connect the bluetooth device). IT is getting to the stage where it is really annoying but i dont know what to do next!!

I wonder if you might help!

cheers ;D
Omer

Sounds more like a hardware fault (pda or receiver) than a vM software fault, but I see that you have also posted on the Haicom forum. Sorry I can't be of more help

thanks - i think ur right. Though it would be a shame as i went to such trouble to get hold of the BT cube (rather than buy a new cable just in case i changed my T5).

I wonder how i could objectively check - without buying additional units of course.
