Hi
I would like to start to help add to the POI databases, I have a new hotel to add, how do I add it to a TT .ov2 file?

I guess if it's the same as the camera database you can dump the OV2 to a csv file using dumpov2.exe. Then edit the csv file, then use makeov2.exe to make the OV2 file again. makeov2.exe and dumpov2.exe are downloadable from the TomTom website.

If it's an addon POI and you are using a TT then it can be added by Selecting the Location in Browse Map and then Add as POI, putting it into the required POI Category.
Unless you mean something totally different. _________________ Richard

Thanks you, I had not realised that TT had that capability.

That works, though not quite as the TT manual says; thank you very much.
