Navman and TomTom 5 - Com Port

Howdie Folks,

I have tried almost everything i can think of, suggestions given here in the forums etc, but still have a small problem.

I have a an IPAQ 3850 with a Navman 3400 Sleeve GPS. If i fire up TT5, and try to get a fix, the GPS interacts with TT5 and after quite a while it will get a fix and hold it. However, when i turn it off it takes far longer than it should to reaquire.

If i run GPSInfo it aquires almost instantly, and reports that it is attached to a Navman Sleeve on COM5. When i configure it in TT5, it says Navman Jacket at the top which i select, but further on down nowhere does it list Com 5. Only Com 3 is listed. Can i assume that using the Navman Jacket selection at the top its automatically selecting Com 5.

Any recommendations on getting fixes to happen quicker?
