Hello all.. long time browser of this site, just joined though.. :D

I just moved from Nav 3 to 5, and on 3 you can have the front softkeys on a PDA assigned to do set tasks in tom tom navigator.

Like I had 1 for disable voice and 1 for shut down application. But this function seems to be missing in Nav 5?? any one found it?

Also Nav 3 had lots of other options like you could change the defined speed on a road ect.. non of these menues are on Nav 5.. where have they gone? Sad

Many of the customisation and route optimisation options dissappeared in the v3 to v5 upgrade.

There are apps that allow you to re-order the menu buttons though, see here which may resolve one issue for you as you could move Mute and Exit to Page 1?

Some button apps help with limited TTN 5 functions, but I agree with darren in using "TT Menubulider" to move the buttons around to a more convenient position on the menu screen. Smile

Why d'ya need a stylus to tap the screen and press the finger sized 'Mute' or 'Exit' buttons?

If you upgraded then the v3 software licence has been cancelled now so you may not be able to revert.
