upgrade maps on TTGO in my area for £3???

Hi,
I recently installed maps of spain from the tomtom plus site ( download £40) and this got me thinking.

My tomtom go is very old and new maps wouldnt go a miss. On the tomtom plus website there is an option to download maps of Leeds, Uk ( where I work) for 5 euros. According to another website, think it was mytomtomgo.com these maps are version 6.05 which are obviously newer than mine.

My question is for the sake of 3 quid could I get new maps of Leeds?
If so would Leeds be a seperate map so when I went out of Leeds I would have to switch map ( like france to spain)

Also, could I not use my tomtom as usual but when it cannot find a new street switch maps to the new leeds one and see if its on there ?

Lastly, dont suppose I could paste the new leeds bit over the old leeds bit?

Any ideas please?( apart from spend £3 and try it, I would but its flat right now)

It will be a separate map. You will have to switch maps every time.

The map version number is for the whole of GB. Leeds will be an extract from that and may not have changed at all with the upgrade.
