2 Rikalines 6012 satfix problems

hi,

just bought me 2 GPS receivers from Rikaline (6012). I know.... they are outdated.

anyway, i have following problems:

mouse 1: always does a cold start, and i never get the infou about how many satellites it has found (not in tomtom or other soft)

mouse 2: worked great, found 7 sat's after 10 minutes..... but is now dead: it always flashes its LED, indicating there is nog sat-fix although i can see it is looking for them. What happened? I only used it once, worked great and 3 days later it is dead

Can someone help me?

On the second one, i already removed the battery but that wouldn't help anything.

ok, problem solved

looks like forcing it in a cold start by opening and disconnecting and reconnecting the battery was the only way of reanimation. Now it works fine, although it does a cold start after 1 dag of non-usage
