Yes, highways = motorways. Maybe they should do "Queen's English" as a language option to avoid confusion! :D
I don't think it will 100% avoid any road type though, its more like "try to avoid".
If there is no other reasonable way to get from A to B then it will take you via the motorway. Likewise, if you are on the south side of the Dartford crossing, it won't take you 10 miles out of your way to avoid the toll if you have avoid tolls switched on. _________________ Gone fishing! |

ok thx, not near any motorways, or going on any trip at the moment to test it out.
just curious for future travel, coz i tend to use mainly A roads rather then motorway. |
