TomTom forgets orientation

I wish that that when TomTom is closed it remembered the direction it was facing, so that if restarted and the coordinates were the same it assumed I was still facing in the same direction. When TomTom is restarted it often appears to point in the wrong direction and it is impossible to tell in which direction along the road I should head next!

As soon as you move more than about three feet it will point in the right direction - at least it does for me.
