Mike,

Similar subject. I notice that you have an xda exec. Can the USB car charger lead from the holux GR231 be used to charge the exec?

The Holux charger is rated at 850mA so it will power the device and charge it, I have just been out to the Ovlov and tried it works fine. It still charges the unit (went from 25% to 27%) with the WIFI running connected to the house at low signal strength, Bluetooth connected to the ear piece and GPS, making a phone call whilst also running TomTom which hammers the processor - (this is about the largest load you can apply to the PDA) so I would give it a it a big Thumbs Up - Just bear in mind I have a different GPS unit to yourself - Mike

Thanks for that Mike.

Just slightly off topic, I have Microsoft voice command on the exec and if I initiate copilot through this it sends the welcome audio through the bluetooth headset and the beeps when it recalcs routes, but the guidance instructions don't come through. I can also play audio through the headset. Strange set of circumstances and I don't know why it happens.

Regards

Dave

I have split and moved this thread to this location, as you said yourself it was off topic for where it was previously, you might get a more realistic answer in this area. My BT headset will not accept audio routing from the satnav so I am unable to answer your last query, anyone?? - Mike
