Hi There,

Recently(a week ago) i bought a acer n35 with destionator 3.0.75, Last week end i've been to a big trip using this one

I been to swindon to cambridge via oxford, milton keyness
then cambridge to bedford
then bedford to HaverHill
Again HaverHill to Swindon

20% of destinator is not accurate, says take fist exit, but it shows the path on 2nd exit, i went to second exit it was fine

Next time when i tried like i was wrong, route was recalculated

the problem happened 6 times on my whole trip, Finally i miised my interview time on time, i spent extra 100 miles on this trip

Really i'm fed up of this, Do i need to keep this one

is there any update or is availabe for the round about problem

and also i'd a problem 2 times, in the straight road no way to take left, it told me to take left , obviously i did't after that no complain

Thanks
Mike

Destinator 3.0.75 has been replaced by Destinator PN.

I currently use Destinator PN and find no problems apart from the screen locking on my HP4700.

I think you'll have to email Destinator about that. Their website doesn't give much away about that even in the members area. Give it a go and let us know what the outcome is. Good luck.

Along with the updated drivers (which I hadn't seen - thanks for that) there is an upgrade to your current version. You may have already done this but check your version number against this which takes it to v3.0.75.

BTW I'm not sure if my registration automatically allows me to that part of the site. If you can't get there then register.

My other half has an N35 and now has Tom Tom on it. But prior to that I did use D3 with the updates and although its a bit out of date now and has a user interface that makes you wanna scream, it did navigate ok so you might want to check things like position of the GPS, whether you have a treated screen or something. The built in GPS reciever in the N35 isn't the strongest and can struggle to get a fix but once its got it its usually ok. It certainly navigated me although in a very innelegant fashion. Certainly never got lost and it got my stepson from Yorkshire to the midlands and back without any problems.

I just wish they'd stop bundling Destinator 3 with PDAs. PowerLoc aren't doing themselves any favours with that approach.

Sorry Mike. Just noticed you already said you're up to date with 3.0.75 Might not do any harm to check though as your problems seem to be the items in the list of fixes in that upgrade.
