I've braved putting the saftey camera files on to the tt1 no problem with that copied over the ov2 and bmp files works like a treat.
But I'm having trouble with the data.chk file.
I've downloaded the one for my unit the 5.420(5643) file. renamed my oringinal data.ck to dataorig.chk and put the new one in and renamed it to data.chk.
Restarted the unit then tested it out and no joy.
Have I missed something or done something wrong?
Also I want to change the bmp files to the pearce ones how do I go about doing that? There seem to be more bmp files of pearce than I have ov2 files I first enanbled all the sounds in the manage poi menue and set the sounds to bell1 etc ...
Also now that I've got these safety camera warrnings on my unit do they tell me what type of satey camera I'm aproaching eg. say its a gatso 20 or 30 etc how do I get it to warn me of the speed of it as opposed to just a picture of the type of safety camera I'm approaching.
So far quite nice great stuff pocketgps!

I can't help with the voice file other than to ask if you still have the original cow etc noises as the new one should replace them.
As for the database files, make sure that you haven't now got BOTH the speed-zoned and the all-in-one version activated, nothing technically wrong with that, but it can get confusing, and usually the icon for the all-in-one will be on top, and cover up the speed one.
My list (ignoring the speedzoned specs) is:
pocketgps_uk_gatso_20.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_30.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_40.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_50.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_60.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_70.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_tba.ov2
pocketgps_uk_gatso_var.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_20.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_30.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_40.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_50.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_60.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_70.ov2
pocketgps_uk_mobile_tba.ov2
pocketgps_uk_temp.ov2
pocketgps_uk_specs.ov2
pocketgps_uk_redlight.ov2
(plus their matching .bmp icon files from the Pearce folder, except the new "*" one for "variable" which didn't exist when I made them - that is in the main speed zoned folder) |
