Installing TT3 on a Dell X50v with WM05

Nightmare!!!, upgraded my X50v from Pocket PC2003 to Windows 5.0 and now I can't re-install my TT3 as it crashes during the setup!!!!.

I have the original disc, is there any way to manually re-install this??. I've seen the thread about manually installing TT5 but that refers to .CAB files and I cannot find these on TT3.

Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Before you go too far with this, are you sure the Dell is stable with WM2005 loaded - I have seen these devices flatten the battery very quickly even when turned Off. Dell are aware of this and hope to get a revised WM2005 ROM out in the next five to six weeks. If you get no where with this you can always revert the X50v back to 2003SE (this ROM is avail from the Dell web site) - Mike

Mike - Thanks for this, I wasn't aware there were problems with the Dell WM2005 ROM (I'm still pee'd off with Dell for charging me £9 postage to send A Disc in a massive cardboard box via UPS!!!!)

I think either way I will end up sticking with WM2005 (this version or a newer version) so will still have the same problems trying to install TT3!!
