Mio 168/Copilot

Hope some people still venture here ;-)

My Copilot (pocket pc 5) has stopped letting me plan routes. When i type in a destination and press finish the egg timer comes on and just continues to be displayed. It doesnt allow me exit the program and a soft reset is required.

I've reinstalled copilot both before and after a hard reset and still nothing. I tried to rebuild the storage card using the Desktop PC download wizard but this just crashes and wont complete.

I cannot tell what the problem is and my 3 weeks wait for Tech support to help at Alk is becoming a pain!

-Make sure your SD card is not full and is not using its locking tab
-Try a new SD card if possible, or re-format the current one.
-Use a card reader/writer if at all possible, in place of ActiveSync

Both problems you mention appear to point to an SD formatting problem. But your SD must have at least some readable map data on it, or CoPilot would not start at all.
