Just been looking at the argos site , the tom tom and navman units seem really cheap.

Tomtom one under £223 500 £375 700 £439.

How does the tomtom700 compare with the Navman550TM at £559.

To many choices at the moment, I don't know which way to go?????

Argos advertise - Street level in your region + major roads of Europe only. Hence the price difference. On the site above you get full European coverage at Street level. (99% in most countries).

I don't know why you think that. Argos are offering the standard ONE, 300, 500 & 700 packages with the same included mapping as everyone else.
