Newb and new GPS for christmas! Help me decide?

Merry Christmas all, I just posted in the Lowrance forum but it doesnt seem to get much action down there.

I recieved a Lowrance Ifinder Hunt this morning, and I don't believe its the right GPS for me. This GPS+WAAS unit is very bulky. I want a GPS thats light, compact, and shows me MPH and distance in large size. I test boat, PWC, and car speeds and need something that'll easily give me accurate readings. I dont think I need this one for tracking hunting routes, etc. Help please?
