I have been using an XDA IIi with the latest firm ware (1.11.162) and I somtimes get the problem where when the XDA has been suspended for a while (say >1 hour) when the device resumes TomTom (5.1) cannot immediatly locate the maps (i.e. if I zoom out i cannot redraw the current map, and I cannot do any routing).

If I change map from withing TomTom back to GB, or exit and relaunch TomTom it is fine. I'm guessing that when the device resumes the SD card isn't imediatly ready and TomTom get confused.

I've tried this with a couple of different SD cards and still get the same problem.

Can anyone help with this? Is there anything I can do to stop this happening? Have you had the same problems?

TIA

Adam

I've tried disabling o2 active and with 3 different SD cards including one provided by TomTom and I still get the same problem.

Is there anything else you can suggest?

when you say you suspend the device do you mean turn off the witht the power button whilst navigator is still running
if this is the the case then exit tomtom by using the exit application button in the navigator menu fisrt

I've found that running the lastest TomTom release 5.21 fixes this problem.
