Problem with GPS cable for XDAIIs - Orange, Qtek etc etc etc

XDAIIs - and there are many clones of this by many names.

You can identify this by the sliding keyboard.

There were many problems reported paticularly for users connecting to GPS, wired or BT.

We have at last got hold of one and discovered that one of the ground pins common with XDA1 and XDA2 is used for something else on XDAIIs.
Therefore a cable utilising that ground pin for previous XDAs will not be compatible with XDAIIs.

That is the case with our combo interface - GXDAP.
GXDA is not affected as the ground pin used is not the changed one.

We did not discovered this earlier as there were not many customers who bought GXDAP for use with XDAIIs (all BT I suppose) and the problem surfaced only becasue a couple of customers recently returned the cables which were tested OK with XDA1/2.

If our customer bought GXDAP for previous XDAs and now upgrade to XDAIIs, we can modify it and send back to you if you return it to us:

Customers who bought recently for use with XDAIIs will have the return postage refunded.

GXDAP ordered from now will be compatible with XDA1/XDA2/XDA3 (IIs), except may be yet another newer model.

All other cables - USB sync/charge, serial interface are all compatbile with all 3 versions bought any time before.
