Ok,
I have been reading a lot of reviews mainly on the Holux and GlobalSat Bluetooth GPS and have a question. I am looking to buy a new receiver and am leaning towards the GlobalSat bt-338 due to the long battery life. Looking at prices in the US, I see the Holux about $10-$15 cheaper at around $115 than the GlobalSat.
I also have an option of upgrading my CoPilot Jacket receiver to a CoPilot Bluetooth receiver with Sirf III for $120.
So my question is should I upgrade with ALK and get the CoPilot Bluetooth GPS with Sirf III or should I just choose from the GlobalSat and Holux. Reason I say this is because the advertised price of the CoPilot Bluetooth GPS is $199 so I was thinking maybe it had some better features, but I haven't found any reviews of the product anywhere. Plus, not many people are talking about it.
If anyone knows what's inside the CoPilot Bluetooth (emtac possibly) or any other advanced functionality, please let me know.
Any help would be appreciated! _________________ IPAQ 3870 running Windows Media 2003, Pocket CoPilot 4, using the CoPilot GPS Jacket model D15A8 |

Did the thought ever cross your mind that nobody has an answer to your question because very few people own all three receivers to be able to compare?
Not knowing the new CoPilot receiver (or the Holux, for that matter) I'd say go with the 338. It's proven technology. _________________ Lutz
