|
|
I am a newest of newbies in the GPS space and pocket pc's. I have purchased a rx3715 ipaq and have the tomtom 5 GPS software which I bought from ebay. How do I install the software on my ipaq and pair it with my f-tech Solar GPS receiver.
The start exe does not work on my Windows XP machine. It does nothing.
There is how to install file and it says.. copy a folder called TomTom5 into my SD card (does not say where to on the sd card.. so root?) and install the SD card in my ipaq.
I did this and nothing happens.. in other words it does not install.
Any can help me sort this out?
Thanks |

If it is a genuine copy then all should be pretty straight forward and discussed in the documentation. If you have instead bought a pirated copy, you won't find much help here as warez are not supported on this forum. |

Julian I think I have been taken for a ride. Though I paid a good amount I think you are right its pirated.
I will buy the genuine article and give it a go.
Ebay will have to be contacted to see if it was a fraud auction |

yes, this really sounds like a pirated copy. Good luck with getting your money back! _________________ Lutz
