Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum...
I have TT3 which I was using with TT-BT GPS receiver.
I also have an Origin B2 GPS speedcamera detector.
It was always my plan to use TT3 with the Origin unit, once the NMEA cradle became available (sometime soon ...).
I now know how to add the NMEA cable to the non-NMEA Origin cradle (which I have done - & confirmed that it has serial data being transmitted).
I recently bought the Carcomm XDA-II car cradle with serial interface (http://www.totalpda.co.uk/Carcomm-Powered-PDA-Mount-for-XDA-MDA-Qtek-2020.aspx) but the problem I am having is that I don't know which COM port to select in the TT-GPS driver. All the COM ports except COM5 seem to do nothing.
COM5 locks up the XDA when I connect the Origin to it (so it's probably the right port!).
Anyone else successfully used this XDA-II serial interface with other wired GPS systems?
(BTW - I already disabled the IRDA port on the XDA.)
The data stream out of the Origin is 38400, 8N1. So I'm selecting NMEA 38400 in the TT-GPS interface options.
Regards, Kevin |

Problem solved.
The pin assignment for Tx/Rx in the data that came with the cradle was the wrong way around.
