Downloadable Map Updates - But how much will they cost ? ? ?

Just noticed this on the TomTom Plus Services website,

Update your TomTom with the latest maps

The cities we live in are constantly changing. Keep your TomTom up to date by downloading the latest map of your region with new streets and buildings. We will update our map data regularly and we’ll soon be offering those maps for download. More details about this great new service will be announced in our monthly Email Newsletter.

I suspect that this will not be a free update...

Can anyone confirm the various map versions for all the different TomTom versions. What I'm trying to establish is if the latest products being released include updated map data?
