TomTom Nav 5 with an MDA compact

Hi there, I have just purchased TomTom Navigator 5 (Bluetooth) from Totteham Court Road for just £179.99 i think this is a bargain price isit? However it seems to good to be true because when i got it home it doesn't seem to work. When i insert the TomTom Memory card it seems to install however when it comes to setting the language the whole pda just shuts down and looses power! I have reset the pda several times an each time has the same result! Does anyone have any idea as to what could be the problem and more importantly any solutions

Ok, well i have tried it on another phone i have which is a MDA3 and it works perfectly! In that case does anyone know of any where i can get firmware updates for the mda compact?
