Hi
I have a Medion MDPNA175 and I have been reading around about people running Tomtom 5 on them. Is there a complete numpty's guide as to how to do this out there? I have found snippets like the following:-
Is the Windows CE on the MDPNA175 the same as the MDPNA150? The 150 seems to be the one everyone goes on about when it comes to Tomtom.
You need to add some dll's to the Windows CE 4.2 installation - no one has actually said which dll's though.
In short, I am getting hopelessly confused by it all and I would like to take the plunge and put Tomtom onto the 175. I have a cupboard full of coffee and paracetamol ready.
Has anyone written a guide about the 175 unit yet?
Thanks

Please, 43 reads and no replies? I would like to convert my MDPNA175 to Tomtom 5 but I don't know how to go about it.
Can I follow the procedure for the MDPNA150?
Cheers

Don't bother with that link...The MOD there has no idea what he is talking about (No offence)
Yes you can turn the 175 into a TOM TOM with full POI, Postcose and speed camera support. I have one myself and have been using Tom Tom on it for about 6 months now
Follow steps for the 150 and other Medion systems and it will work, they are all basically the same...All run Windows CE |
