HP 4700 + tomtom 5.1 + USA maps= HELP ME PLEASE

Hi
my hardware : HP 4700 + GlabalsatBt338 + Tomtom
TROUBLE:
1-hp 4700+tomtom 5.0 = unstabe but see Europe and USA maps;
2-hp 4700+update tomtom 5.1 = very stable but see Europe maps,only;USA disappear (but with reader exists on MMC card);
TomTom ITALY assistance NO RESOLVE this probleme.
Request help from UK friends!!!
Somebody can help me ,PLEASE?THANK YOU VERY MUCH

TTN 5.1 cannot (will not) read version 4 maps any more. You need version 5 maps for the US.

1-if I use TT5 i can read USA maps,but system isnt stable,and map are v.5.62;
2-if I update TT5.1 cannot read maps
How can see if my map are type 4 or 5

you can find the map build number in the PNA file (last line) . 562 is a european map version. The v5 US maps start at build 567.

you can actually buy the US maps in Europe. One of the UK guys over there should be able to give you a link.

I simply upgraded my USA & Canada Maps at the same time that I upgraded to TTN5. Of course I had to pay the 59 euros twice.

Have you tried asking Tom Tom?

yes,but they told me I have to call Teleatlas ,becouse Iboth it in USA,but Teleatlas dont update it online.No found a right link ,maybe.Nobody know a right link?

Easy Devices sell the TomTom 5 maps of USA, on CD, for £99.88 including VAT, see here for further information.

Expansys sell the TomTom 5 maps of USA , on CD, for £101.95 including VAT, see here for further information.

If you buy maps for TomTom Navigator 5, then they will work with TomTom Navigator 5.10. Thumbs Up
