Hi all,
I'm thinking it's time to go bluetooth. Has anyone had any experience with the Parrot CK3300 using a Nokia 6230i and an Ipaq 2210 running TT5. Question Any feed back would be much appreciated

I am using a Parrot 3300 with TT5 and my Ipaq 6340 combined PDA and phone. Very good bit of kit that does everthing I want. When sat nav instructions or warnings are given the car radio mutes and the voice comes thru the audio (can use volume controls on steering wheel to adjust). Same with phone calls. When phone rings the sat nav keep going (except with no verbal instructions) and comes back when I hang up.

However not sure how much of this would work with your seperate PDA and phone - especially the interface between sat nav and phone. I think the 3300 was primarily designed for units that combine a phone and sat nav system in one unit (smartphones running TT mobile, or PDAs like mine with built in phone). Certainly most of the listed compatables on Parrot's website were of that type. Would be worth emailing Parrot (they do eventually reply after about 4 -5 days).

I got mine installed by a great company based in Slough - did a good job for me - www.justcarkits.co.uk

Finally you need to make sure the Parrot has been flashed with the latest software - the early versions were a bit buggy - but the later one (mine was done in August) is fine. Your installer should be able to do this for you (if he can't then don't use him). You can DIY using the software from the Parrot site and a laptop with a bluetooth dongle.
