I dont know your PDA phone but on my Ipaq running Windows PPC 2003 Phone Edition I tap start, then inbox. Normally comes up with a screen with a band near the top with "sent items" and a little arrow next to it. Tap that and you get the folder system that includes SMS and MMS at the bottom with a plus next to them. Tap one of those and you get the folder system that stores the sent, received, draft etc messages for either MMS or SMS.
May not be the same on other editions of Windows PPC though |

Thanks for your replies.
If i copy the messages from the \windows\messaging folder as a backup and then restore the messages at a later date - they all disappear from the pda - i just cant locate them anywhere.
Anyone know how to get around this problem?
And [PeterC10] i am referring to the exact folder that the messages are stored within the PDA and not the folders that are visible within the messaging client - sorry my question wasnt worded well |

it's not that easy. There are also a number of index files and registry entries involved.
The proper way would be to backup the PIM data via the built-in tool or Sprite Backup.
HOWEVER it is a VERY bad idea to backup email states - upon restore you risk losing all emails that originated after the backup was made. Happened to me, and I didn't like it at all. _________________ Lutz
