Nemerix BT GPS and Route 66 NO Connection

Hi all,

Hope someone can help. I've just installed Route 66 on my Nokia 6260 mobile phone and together with a Nemerix BT GPS mouse I thought it should work fine in the car. No such thing. Perhaps the heat reflection on the windscreen gets in the way. However in the street, out of the car the reception is not fantastic either. What to do? Change the receiver for another one? Or what solution can you suggest to a newbie in this field

Hi,

If the reception outside the car is adequate to get the system to respond, identify a position etc. THEN try positioning the receiver by the rear window which should be transparent to radio waves!!!!!

If the reception is NOT but the BT connection between receiver and phone is OK, THEN it would appear that you have an inadquate receiver and should try another!!!!!!

Most current BT GPS receivers should work, most problems relate to linking with the BT phone!!
