Tom Tom 5 Pocket PC maps to Tom Tom GO 300

Is it possible to use the Pocket PC maps of Tom Tom 5.0 or 5.1 on Tom Tom GO 300 ?

The latest CD maps for TomTom Navigator 5 are the same for both the pda and the GO. But when you install them you will be asked to activate them. You can only get an activation code from TomTom for one or other, not both, if you try to copy the same set of maps.

You need to buy a set of the maps for each machine.

Is there any "skip-over" method to get the same maps to work on both pda and go, without buying both?

You should be able to activate them again 7 days after purchase. Of course using them on two devices at once would be illegal.
