map updates

ive just bought a TT300 this week - how do i go about updating the maps database??? - for example there are new road developments going on in my home town - how and where do iget updated maps once they are available?

The TomTom GO 300, 500, and 700 units are still so new that they all have the latest available maps.

In the past, TomTom have offered map updates once a year, around April/May.

Register with TomTom and keep an eye on the forums here and you'll find out when newer maps are available.

Once the maps are available, you'll probably have to order the maps via the TomTom website. Don't forget to store your Product Code in a safe place, as you will need the Product Code to order the upgrade.

The maps are updated once a year (in Spring), you will be offered a discount if you want to upgrade, for now you have the latest available maps.
