is there any non web-based programs like streetmao.co.uk that can run on a PDA ?
I've recently bought a garmin i3 but find that i still need a map because of some of the places I need to go for work, was thinking maybe getting a PDA with built in GPS (mio 168) so that it could be used for looking up the map (like streetmap.co.uk) to get road names near where i'm going, and could also be used in conjunction with tomtom or whatever for actual directions once I know where the place is I'm going |

sorry, I know next to nothing about connecting to the net other than with my pc at home!
I know my friend had GPRS on his phone but that cost so much per minute, or however it was charged
so...is there actually a way to connect to the www without paying by the minute, or monthly charge ? |
