I don't think you can get it to ignore Motorways. Destinator doesn't have many options such as speed or road-type calculations.
TMC - Traffic Message Channel. Traffic information tranmitted in realtime over the airwaves. There are several providers and it is usually transmitted as part of a radio station silently (I think Classic FM handle much of it). There are different providers and with some software you pay. But with Destinator its free but not that well implemented apparently. You can only configure it to navigate around roadblocks not to give you the option so its a bit severe! Might be better in V6.
Theres a forum group right here dedicated to it. http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=55
The organisation behind it can be found here: http://www.tmcforum.com/en/home.htm
You also need a TMC reciever . This is sometimes part of the GPS reciever or a seperate item. Your choice depends a lot on which PDA or device you use. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720

Thanks anyway for the TMC info, now i know what it is. I have the Acer n35, I don't think it has TMC reciever.
Did't Destinator 3 have an option for not using moterways ?

With the N35 there is a replacement power cable with the TMC module integrated. Its tricky with other PDAs to get the signal in without buying a GPS receiver with it integrated and at about £170.00 upwards. Haven't time to give you the link but its out there on Google. Its a lot less money than the other option.
Many folk complain about Tom Tom's use of GPRS at a cost to the customer for traffic info. Aside from whether or not its any good I can't help thinking that the charges are probably less than the TMC reciever you need for other systems. You'll probbly change to another type of device before you run up an equivalent bill! _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
